Russell Brand deported from Japan.

No Japan for Russell Brand. Upon arrival in Japan Russell was taken into police custody and deported from the country. Katy Perry had asked her husband to come see her perform, but the Japanese police decided otherwise. He wasn't allowed to enter Japan because of previous convictions, some 10 years ago.

Russell didn't lose his sense of humour though, tweeting a photo of himself in a white room with the text: "Planning escape from Japanese custody. It's bloody hard to dig a tunnel with a chopstick."
